I've been building and flying model balloons for over 20 years, and have never know such an exciting time to be involved in the hobby.

There are now more people, more events, bigger balloons, longer flights and better technologies, than at any other time in the sports history.

Welcome to my web site, have a good look around and I hope you will find valuable information, whether you are looking to build a balloon, fly at an event or just want to know more about model ballooning and the people who fly them.

Happy Landings

End of Summer Fun

As the British summer had it's final mid autumn fling, the village of Welshpool hosted the now traditional `One Man Meet'. Fellow model balloonist Janet Folks and I shared a Lindstrand 31A demo for the weekend. As darkness fell on the Saturday evening the opportunity arose to float `Ice' my own AM7-70 ZZ around the camp site.

This is the first Model I have made with some serious artwork, and I would like to thank Lyn and Julie for their skills producing the balloon and to Janet Folks for choosing us as the supplier of the envelope.
